Introduction
Educator, Communications, and Development Specialist offering expertise in community relations, child development, marketing, and social media.
Currently, I serve as an Educator and Facilitator for Memphis Business Academy Middle School (MBA). At MBA, I am responsible for creating and facilitating rigorous English Language Arts content for classroom instruction across multiple grade levels and for facilitating professional developments for adult learners demonstrating effective, evidence-based teaching strategies.
I have spent the last 4 years working in education with grades 6th - 12th where I’ve consistently used student data to drive my instruction and influence legislative policy decisions advocated for a curriculum reflective of diversity and inclusion, and served as a thought partner to develop strategies for problem-solving and share knowledge and insights on emerging trends and changes in education policy.
As a results-driven individual with proven success in fundraising, I've worked collaboratively across corporate/ non-profit structures to create and deliver programs, communication plans, content, and data-driven reports.
Like many successful professionals, I’m continuously learning and adapting to change daily. For more than 14 years, I've been submerged in the competitive freelance development and public relations industry that has inspired a creative yet contemporary approach to managing various communication styles, large teams, events, and campaigns. I’d love to work for a company where I can grow and enhance my current skills.
